This opportunity is ideal for a licensedmental health professional who enjoys delivering client-centered care, conductingcomprehensive assessments, and helping individuals achieve meaningful progress throughevidence-based treatment.Position SummaryThe Contract Outpatient Therapist is responsible for conducting diagnostic and comprehensiveclinical assessments, providing outpatient therapy services, managing an assigned caseload, andcollaborating with clinical leadership to ensure quality care. The ideal candidate brings strongclinical expertise, sound diagnostic judgment, and the ability to work independently whilemaintaining exceptional documentation and compliance standards.Compensation Structure (Fee-for-Service)• Diagnostic Assessments - 50% per completed assessment• Comprehensive Clinical Assessments - 50% per completed assessment• Outpatient Therapy (Telehealth/In-Person) - 50% per completed sessionReports To: Director of Clinical Services and OperationsKey Responsibilities• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and clinical assessments to determine client needsand medical necessity.• Evaluate client urgency, complexity, strengths, risks, and available support systems toinform treatment planning.• Provide outpatient therapy services through telehealth and, when applicable, in-personsessions.• Review and evaluate referrals for eligibility and make admission recommendations inaccordance with company policies.• Manage an assigned caseload while maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinicaldocumentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.• Collaborate with the Clinical Director to support care coordination, resource allocation,and treatment planning.• Maintain compliance with company policies, ethical standards, licensing requirements,and applicable state and federal regulations.QualificationsRequired• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral healthfield from an accredited institution.• Active North Carolina licensure as one of the following:o Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSWA)o Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC or LCMHC-A)o Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS or LCAS-A)• Preferred minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience in mentalhealth or substance use treatment.• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.• Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation and compliance.• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.• Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities and manage an independent caseload.Preferred• Experience providing telehealth behavioral health services.• Experience working with diverse populations across outpatient settings.• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and interdisciplinary carecoordination.Why Join This Team?• Flexible schedule with the ability to choose your own working hours, including eveningsand weekends.• Fully remote work environment with minimal travel requirements.• Company-provided training and ongoing professional development opportunities.• Scheduling support provided by an administrative/front desk team.• Access to company office space and equipment, if needed.• Opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.Additional Requirements• Must be authorized to work in the United States.• Must maintain active North Carolina professional licensure throughout employment.• Minimal travel to company locations may be required.• Ability to work in a fast-paced behavioral health environment while managing multipleclient needs effectively.Equal Employment OpportunityEqual Opportunity Employer: Noble Hearts HR Consulting & Staffing and our client are EqualOpportunity Employers.
