Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift (may include Saturdays)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Compensation:
Hourly Rate:$37.00 – $42.00 per hour

HCEPInc is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation team in Woodland Hills, California. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated clinician who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, improve functional independence, and achieve rehabilitation goals in an acute care environment.
The ideal candidate will have recent inpatient experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility training, balance activities, and functional rehabilitation.
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in patient status to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and families on prescribed exercises, mobility techniques, and home safety recommendations.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care recommendations.
Maintain a safe treatment environment while adhering to infection prevention and patient safety standards.

Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Minimum of two (2) years of inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant experience required.
Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient healthcare environment.
