JOB DESCRIPTIONThis seasonal, contract position is a field role, attending onsite open enrollment and benefit fair meetings at client locations. The role may include giving a presentation on benefits or answering individual questions and provides follow‑up information electronically to appropriate Delta Dental personnel. It is best suited for individuals who can adjust schedules based on seasonal needs. Candidates must be available from 8 AM to 5 PM local time, Monday through Friday, maintaining presence during these standard daytime hours and adapting to shifting workloads, especially during peak periods. Please note that benefits are not available for this role; rewards are exclusively available for permanent positions at Delta Dental.Requires at least two or more years experience in one or more of the following areas: medical/dental insurance account management, benefits administration in Human Resources, serving as a medical/dental carrier, representative, or an insurance broker.Currently hiring in the following locations: Greater Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Sacramento Area, Fresno, Las Vegas, Inland Empire/High Desert, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Baltimore, Pittsburg, Philadelphia, New York City, Upstate NY, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Utah, Phoenix, Louisiana, San Antonio, Florida and Georgia. This is not a remote position; candidates must reside in one of the specified locations. Targeted Start Date: 08/01/2026RESPONSIBILITIESIn a group setting or one‑on‑one, compares and contrasts dental plans to assist customers in determining the best plan to meet their needs.May be required to guide customers into making a decision when Delta Dental is offered on a voluntary basis.Provides customers with printed plan information and answers any questions about the plans offered.Refers members to customer service for any issues that cannot be answered on site.QUALIFICATIONSAt least two or more years experience in medical/dental insurance account management, benefits administration in Human Resources, serving as a medical/dental carrier, representative, or an insurance broker.High School diploma or GED.Requires an insurance license for residents of FL and KY.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Proof of automobile insurance with minimum liability limits required by the state.Knowledge of dental plans and basic health insurance terminology.Knowledge of other language(s) preferred.Base Pay Information: The national base pay range is $30.00 per hour.
