As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Staff Therapist with patient-related activities and direct care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Treating patients as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Recording daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes
• Assisting in maintaining the department and treatment area
• Participating in patient care and rehabilitation conferences
• Communicating with supervisors and health team members about patient progress
• Instructing patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs
• Reporting any issues with department equipment

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state
• Proficiency in computer skills, including programs like Casamba and Point Click Care
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to maintaining licensure in good standing with the state board
