SUMMARY
 

The Contract Recruiter will assist the Talent Acquisition core team with recruitment strategies to meet optimal hiring goals across the organization.The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

The Recruiter maintains an effective level of business literacy about the organization’s overall business strategies, its hiring and talent acquisition goal plans, its culture and its market labor competition. This professional will directly be responsible for the full-service candidate sourcing that supports HR Operational excellence across the enterprise.

 

This position reports to the Senior Director of HRBP or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is located in Houston, TX or can be remote and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm local Time.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Talent Recruiting, Sourcing, and Community Development (80%):

  • Works withTalent Acquisition Leadership and Hiring Teams tosuccessfully track thejobrequisitionpipeline and reconcileagainst annual hiringbusiness plan
  • Responsibleforthefullcyclerecruitment: postingjobrequisitions, sourcing, conductsinterviews, draftsofferletters, schedulinginterviewsforvariouslevels
  • Adhere to compliance, data integrity and regular ATS/HRIS management needs
  • Identify and successfully engage with talent in specific disciplines
  • Tella compelling and consistentmessagetocandidatesthatalignswiththecompanybrand and values
  • Develop robust communitiesoftalent and candidatepipelinesacross a diverse setoffunctionalareas and generate rapid results in a fast-pacedenvironment
  • Maintain all TA systemmaintenance: TA Platforms, Jobvite, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, jobboards, etc
  • Proven track recordofassisting TA strategiesforsourcingcandidatesfordiversityhiring (throughvariousjobboards, virtual jobfairs, jobpostingactivities)
  • Assists on TA & Recruitmentprojects and searches, constructtargetlistsofcompanies, candidates, prospects and leads, developpipelinesoftalent, contact high-potential prospects, conductcandidateinterviews, maintainprogressreports, capturesmarketdatatotellthe passive talentmarket’sstory and assesscandidatequalifications
  • Collect and frame-up external talentmarketdatatoenablepartnerstoinform and influencedecisions
  • Optimize Talent Management/ATS systembysettingupemailtemplates, workflow, dispositions, requisitionstatuses, analytics, and TA hiringreporting
  • Be accountableforthestorage and distributionof internal and external documentswithstrictconfidentiality
  • Drive candidateengagementthrough all stagesoftherecruitingprocesstoensure a positive candidateexperienceisdelivered in a timely manner

  • Expertly handle workload in Microsoft Office Suite softwareprograms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience in utility-scale renewable energy, solar, or construction environments, including roles in engineering, sustainability, and skilled trades.
  • Strong understanding of the utility-scale solar project lifecycle, especially engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate selection skills.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification preferred.

The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. If candidates are considered for a nationwide role, then the compensation range will follow the marketability of the job function within those states. An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
