Schedule: 12-Hour Day/Night Rotating Shifts

Hourly Rate:$41.00 – $46.00 per hour

HCEPInc is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to join a collaborative acute care team in Wailuku, Hawaii. This opportunity provides comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients while working alongside physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care skills, current certifications, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Provide respiratory assessment, treatment, and monitoring for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, breathing treatments, and other respiratory interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support.
Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response and code situations.
Perform patient assessments and communicate clinical findings to physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Collaborative Multidisciplinary Care Team
Current Hawaii Respiratory Therapist License required.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
