Contract Respiratory Therapist

Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements:

    • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or equivalent education.
  • Certifications Requirements:

    • Valid Georgia Respiratory License.
    • NBRC (RRT/CRT) certification.
    • BLS certification.
  • Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
    • Experience with intubations and assisting with intubations.
    • Experience with CPR and managing codes for infants to adults.
  • Other Requirements:

    • Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting.
    • Critical thinking skills.
    • Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including 3-12 hour days or nights.
    • Physical ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
