Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Kansas.

Certifications Requirements:

  • CPR certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Emergency Nursing certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Long Term Care.
  • Previous night shift experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work night shifts (6p-6a).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift supplies regularly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in the Long Term Care facility during night shifts.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement resident care plans.
  • Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in EMR systems.
  • Monitor residents’ vital signs and identify changes in health status promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and state regulations.
