Job Requirements

Education Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.

Certifications Requirements

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • RN license in good standing (state requirements applicable to the assignment)

Experience Requirements

  • 1+ year of recent critical care experience in ICU, Step-Down, or LTAC settings
  • Experience providing care to higher-acuity patients, including patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced inpatient environment and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Other Requirements

  • Comfort with ventilator patients and critical care documentation expectations
  • Willingness to work Days and Nights as scheduled (3x12s)
  • Ability to follow facility protocols and maintain patient safety standards throughout the assignment

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to patients in LTAC and similar high-acuity settings
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care for ventilator-dependent patients
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient assessments, documentation, and care plan updates throughout each shift
  • Execute evidence-based nursing interventions consistent with unit protocols, safety standards, and clinical best practices
  • Document patient status, responses to treatment, and progression of care to support continuity during shift changes
