Position Summary: The Release Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across development, testing, and production environments. This role ensures the timely delivery of high-quality releases aligned with business goals while minimizing disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Release Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage release schedules, identify dependencies and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless release execution.
- Align release plans with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Release Execution
- Lead deployment activities across production and non-production environments.
- Ensure all changes meet quality, compliance, and security standards.
- Conduct release readiness assessments and provide post-release support.
Process Optimization
- Continuously improve release processes and workflows.
- Promote best practices in CI/CD, automation, and DevOps.
- Maintain documentation for release policies and procedures.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases.
- Develop and implement rollback strategies for failed deployments.
Communication & Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related matters.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on release status and challenges.
- Facilitate post-release reviews to assess performance and drive improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in release management.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git, and Confluence.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or related frameworks.
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

- Document Upload & Verification
You understand and agree that:

- You are fully responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide
- The Portal may use third-party verification services where applicable
- We reserve the right to reject or remove any document or information that appears invalid or misleading
- Use of Portal Services

- Client-specific requirements
- Instructions provided on the Portal
Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:
- Uploading false or misleading information
- Interfering with Portal operations
- Sharing your credentials or login with others
- Attempting to bypass or manipulate application processes
- Job Application

- Job opportunities displayed on the Portal are not guaranteed of employment.

- Profile Accuracy & Updates
