Position Details
- Setting: Public school district
- Schedule: Monday-Friday during school hours
- Contract Length: Full school year
- Student Population: Pre-K through High School (based on assignment)
- Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, psychologists, OTs, PTs, and families
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, AAC, and social communication needs
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CA SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
