Contract Senior Project Manager - Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) Aseptic Manufacturing Facility

Piper Companies is seeking a Contract Senior Project Manager - Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) Aseptic Manufacturing Facility to support a major capital project within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The Contract Senior Project Manager - Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) Aseptic Manufacturing Facility will act as the owner's representative, leading execution across design, construction, commissioning, and startup while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities of the Contract Senior Project Manager - GFD Aseptic Manufacturing Facility:

• Lead end-to-end execution of a large-scale greenfield aseptic manufacturing capital project from design through startup.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinate across engineering, construction, CQV, quality, and procurement teams.
• Drive project planning, governance, reporting, and decision-making while resolving risks and issues.
• Oversee engineering firms, contractors, and equipment vendors, including design reviews and construction execution.
• Manage project budget, schedule, forecasting, and change control processes.
• Support commissioning, qualification, validation, and operational readiness activities to ensure successful facility startup.

Requirements of the Contract Senior Project Manager - GFD Aseptic Manufacturing Facility:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience managing greenfield capital projects in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environments.
• 10+ years of experience managing GMP facility projects with proven delivery of projects exceeding $250MM.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, construction management, risk management, and capital project governance.
• Familiarity with aseptic manufacturing, cleanrooms, automation systems, and global GMP regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA preferred).

Compensation for the Contract Senior Project Manager - GFD Aseptic Manufacturing Facility:

• $140,000 - $175,000
• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
