Job Summary:
Manage Projects for Plant upgrades and expansions worth $50K to $4 Million.
The projects will be for Process, Manufacturing, Packaging systems (70%) + Utilities / Facilities (30%)
This engineer will support the Operations group and work in cross functional teams from Engineering, quality, maintenance production, etc. This is a hands-on engineer role. The right person will be an all-rounder.
Note 1: The right person will need to have Food industry experience.
Note 2: We will also consider candidates on C2C basis from partner companies.

Candidate Must Have:
· BS in Engineering or a Technical field
· Min 10+ years of engineering experience
· 5+ years of Project Engineering/Management experience in the Food plants.
Some experience with FDA, OSHA, EPA, regulations and compliance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment.
Candidate Nice to Have:
Knowledge of High-speed food processing & packaging
Knowledge of high-volume refrigeration systems used for industrial freezers
· Project Management Professional - PMP certified

Group Info: Be part of a growing Corporate Engineering Group supporting 4 plants. This role will be based at their large plant in Traverse City, MI with occasional travel to other plants. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Engineering & EHS.
