Job Details

Support trading and product supply operations by managing trade confirmations, contract administration, reconciliation activities, and operational workflows in a fast-paced energy trading environment. Partner cross-functionally with accounting, product supply, logistics, and external counterparties to ensure accurate trade execution, timely dispute resolution, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, validate, and reconcile physical trade transactions to ensure accuracy from execution through settlement.
  • Generate, process, and manage trade confirmations while resolving discrepancies, pricing issues, and documentation gaps.
  • Monitor contracts, invoices, and trade records within RightAngle, SAP, OpenText, and Excel.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to resolve trade disputes and prevent downstream operational impacts.
  • Support customer and vendor onboarding activities, including documentation review, approval workflows, and account setup.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent trade reviews, confirmations, disputes, and operational requests in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Conduct operational research, reporting, backlog analysis, and ad hoc projects for leadership.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend workflow improvements to enhance accuracy, compliance, and productivity.
  • Maintain critical business operations during periods of limited staffing, holidays, and high-volume trading activity.
  • Track and report operational risks, outstanding issues, and exceptions that could impact trade settlement or business performance.

Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting trading, product supply, commodities, energy, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of trade confirmations, contract administration, invoicing, reconciliation, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external business partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise systems such as RightAngle, SAP, or similar ERP/trading platforms.
