About the Opportunity
In this role, you join our Kit Assembly team and contribute directly to the production of high-quality QIAGEN products. You work hands-on in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly, and your accuracy and focus truly matter. You ensure smooth assembly operations, maintain high product standards, and support a collaborative and safety-driven team culture.
Your tasks include:
• Comprehend and perform assigned manual assembly and production tasks according to established SOPs. • Adhere to and accurately complete all production-related documentation. • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate production equipment within the assembly area. • Maintain product quality and escalate issues when needed. • Support counting, verifying, and preparing materials required for production. • Contribute to cross-functional process improvement initiatives. • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable quality and EHS regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, cGMP).
Your Profile
You bring a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 1-3 years of experience, or an AA degree with relevant experience. You ideally understand FDA-regulated and cGMP production practices. You are comfortable working with general and automated laboratory/production equipment. You use computers confidently and document work accurately. You plan time, equipment, and materials efficiently and resolve production issues independently. You work safely in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors. You can lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods. You demonstrate dependability, motivation, punctuality, and strong attention to detail. You read, write, and understand English fluently.
The typical pay rate for this role is $20/hour. This temporary and/or contract position is not eligible for QIAGEN's company benefits. The position includes only those benefits mandated by applicable state and federal law, if any, which are provided by the agency employer.
