Contracted Trainer

Provide training services for Operations and the Maintenance staff at SECONN on a per diem basis up to 20 hours per week. Flexible hours to provide support as plant conditions dictate. Classroom and field training provided.Focus on new hire training consisting of, but not limited to:1) Welcome aboard package2) Steam Cycle3) Water Chemistry4) SP-23 Level 3 & 4 Electrical Qualifications5) Valve Lesson Plan6) P&ID reading7) Pump Lesson Plan (in progress)8) Oxy-acetylene torch training9) Oxy-therm cutting training10)JTI implementation and prioritization according to employee's job description11)Qualification path explained, along with proper resources (OQS, O&M Manuals, etc)12)Operations watchstanding principles13)Maintenance Department qualifications support14)Ops Manager assigned tasks as required – lineups, procedure changes, casualty reviews15)Conduct Operator 'Bootcamp' indoc training                                                                                      Training varies dependent upon each specific watchstation personnel are assigned to.As required, assist with Electrical Outage planning, LOTO's, and interfacing with Regional and Plant staff. Coordination with hired contractors. Eversource Switching and Tagging liaison, including requests for work.Field training including system walkdowns, lineups, theoretical discussion, and practical hands-on tasksMust pass all pre-employment screenings, including verification, background check, drug test, medical evaluation, and fit test
