Position Summary:

\n

ESP seeks a Full Time (30 hours per week) Diversified Aircrew Readiness Training System (DARTS) Qualified Contract Instructor VP OTS (EW) to provide instruction in associated simulators for our Whidbey Island, WA location. Secret security clearance required.

\n

Job duties and responsibilities include but not limited to

\n
  • \n
  • Brief/Debrief students under instruction in the classroom and in simulator.
  • \n
  • Lecture in an instructor-led classroom environment.
  • \n
  • Evaluate students under instruction in a simulator.
  • \n
  • Grade students.
  • \n
  • Manage an assigned course for updates/modifications/recommendations to the Curriculum Development Department.
  • \n
\n

The VP OTS (EW) and Operator shall have the following qualifications:

\n
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and instruct in the applicable VP equipment/trainers identified in Addendum B as well as in the VP aircraft.
  • \n
  • A minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated operational experience as a non-acoustic Aviation Warfare (AW) Systems Operator in the VP community.
  • \n
  • A minimum of four (4) additional years of Electronic Warfare (EW) training related experience.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two (2) concurrent years of experience with specific aircraft systems/subsystems based on his/her on-site location.
  • \n
  • A minimum of (120) hours of EW related analysis training applicable to the non-acoustic sensor systems/subsystems and WING specific peripheral equipment.
  • \n
  • Completed the Navy’s basic AW “A” School.
  • \n
  • Have operational ASW training as an aircrew member utilizing the P-3C/P-8A configuration EW processors (i.e. NEC 7861/7862).
  • \n

The VP OTS (EW) Operator shall possess the following certifications:

\n
  • \n
  • Certification that the Instructor has completed the relevant platform Electronic Warfare (EW) sensor operator courses.
  • \n
  • Certification that the Instructor has completed the formal military Instructor/Trainer (I/T) program (e.g., Naval Designator 9502) or an equivalent I/T program.
