We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage customer contracts, proposals, and order management activities in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. This role supports the full contract lifecycle—from proposal development and negotiation through execution and performance monitoring—while also supporting order entry, demand planning, and customer communication.

The ideal candidate has experience reviewing contract terms, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and managing customer orders in a structured, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Administration & Execution

  • Administer customer contracts, including:
    • purchase orders (POs)
    • long-term agreements (LTAs)
    • basic ordering agreements (BOAs)
  • Review and analyze:
    • delivery schedules
    • pricing and terms
    • contract compliance requirements
  • Monitor contract performance and identify need for amendments or changes
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers on assigned contracts

Proposals & Negotiation

  • Support development of proposals and RFP responses
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) to gather inputs
  • Evaluate cost estimates, schedules, and technical requirements
  • Assist in negotiation of pricing, terms, and delivery schedules within defined scope

Order Management & Customer Support

  • Process and manage customer orders and schedule changes
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities, including demand planning inputs
  • Manage customer portals and maintain accurate order data
  • Communicate order status, delivery updates, and issue resolution with customers

⚖️ Compliance & Process Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with:
    • contract requirements
    • export control regulations (as applicable)
    • company policies and procedures
  • Support resolution of customer issues, claims, or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate contract and order documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in contract administration, order management, or related role
  • Experience reviewing:
    • contracts or purchase orders
    • pricing, terms, and delivery requirements
  • Strong understanding of customer order management processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/customer systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with:
    • export control (ITAR/EAR)
    • government or commercial contracting
  • Contract certifications (e.g., NCMA, IACCM)
  • Experience supporting S&OP or demand planning processes

Key Traits for Success

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Able to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customers
  • Strong communication skills in customer-facing situations

Important Notes

  • This role combines contract administration and order management responsibilities
  • It is not a purely administrative or data entry role
  • Candidates should have experience reviewing contracts or POs in a business or manufacturing environment
