Job Title: Contracts Administrator III (Manager, Technology Strategic Sourcing)
Location: New York - 30 Hudson Yards, NY 10001
**Alternative Sourcing Locations: Atlanta - Techwood, GA or Burbank, CA
Pay rate: $56.00 - $57.00/hr
Work schedule: Full-Time | 5 days per week (40 hours).

  • Hybrid Structure: Operates on a hybrid model requiring 3 days on-site per week with a flexible schedule.

  • Overtime Requirements: No overtime expected or required. Ability to work non-traditional hours across global teams may be needed periodically.

Overview

The Contracts Administrator III collaborates with global internal clients across the global technology organizations to execute strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. This role primarily focuses on deal negotiation, contract planning, and sourcing strategies within the technical and professional services fields. Managing acquisitions from mid-tier and top-tier technology partnerships, the administrator drives value creation, achieves proactive cost savings, and ensures all finalized agreements align with variable business objectives.

Job Specifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Planning & Negotiation: Handle commercial and technical contract negotiations for complex technology transactions. Gather requirements from internal stakeholders, interpret contract terms, and partner with Legal to resolve structural challenges.

  • Sourcing & Project Execution: Manage competitive sourcing events and procurement projects from kickoff through final execution. Partner with Finance and Business Stakeholders to establish commercial terms that respect budget constraints.

  • Technical Agreement Development: Draft and finalize commercial terms, Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and other specialized technical or operational documents.

  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the central business liaison between Technology Business Units and supporting departments, including Legal, Finance, Security, and Procurement, during the contract lifecycle.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Represent the company in managing business relationships with mid-tier and top-tier technology vendors, addressing escalations, tracking non-operational issues, and maintaining accurate transaction records.

  • Strategy & Rationalization: Identify cost-saving opportunities within partner categories, supporting supplier and technology rationalization initiatives. Ensure vendor and product selections directly support global technology strategies.

  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive briefing documents, status tracking metrics, and relationship reports for senior management review.

Must Have Skills / Requirements

  • Contract Drafting & Redlining: 5+ years of dedicated experience evaluating commercial contracts, drafting legal language, redlining documents, and reviewing incoming supplier redlines.

  • Project Management & Organization: 5+ years of experience managing multiple complex projects, concurrent deadlines, and deals simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.

  • Stakeholder Communication: 5+ years of experience interpreting contractual issues and summarizing guidance clearly for cross-functional corporate stakeholders.

  • Analytical Reasoning: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review situational data and exercise impartial judgment when evaluating supplier responses.

  • Technical Software Skills: Advanced operational proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Advanced degree such as a Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Business Administration (MBA).

  • Hands-on experience operating specialized procurement and CLM tools, specifically Ariba, Agiloft, SpendHQ, or related contract management platforms.

  • Prior sourcing or contract experience within a major technology, data, media, or entertainment company.

Education & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract administration, or a related field.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in business, technology, or a related field is required.

Term: 4-Month Contract Assignment
Assignment Duration: 07/08/2026 to 11/30/2026 (Extension is possible based on business requirements; full-time conversion is unlikely).

Interview Process

  1. Round 1: Initial screening interview with the Director of Technology Sourcing.

  2. Round 2: Secondary virtual interview with the Vice President of Technology Strategic Sourcing (Hiring Manager).
