Contracts AttorneyTyler Technologies is seeking a Contracts Attorney to join our legal team. The Contracts Attorney will prepare and negotiate Tyler's standard SaaS contracts, as well as certain vendor contracts for a variety of Tyler's business units and will assist in responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs). This is a fast-paced position offering the opportunity to join a stable, growing, publicly traded company and interact with all levels of the company.As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company and support team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with business leaders and other members of the legal teamReview, draft, and negotiate SaaS, payment processing, professional services, marketing, and vendor agreementsReview and prepare responses to government RFPsProvide legal analysis of relevant laws and regulations impacting our industryEffectively communicate directly with business stakeholders regarding legal mattersConstantly learn, improve, and adapt to new industry trends and requirementsComplete other ad hoc legal assignmentsQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited U.S. law school; licensed in good standing with a State Bar, as applicable per location1-4 years of general corporate or commercial contract experience as an attorneyExperience in all aspects of the contract life cycle, including proposals, administration, and close‑out; experience in software licensing/legal contract terminologyAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; strategic approach to problem solvingAbility to work both independently and as a team memberExperience in corporate law or a similar fieldExceptional negotiation and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneouslyFamiliarity with industry‑specific contract regulations and standardsLocationPlano, Texas | Overland Park, Kansas | Yarmouth, MaineTravel0-5%Taking Care of You & Your FamilyYour health and well-being are important to us.
