    Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Contracts Consultant to provide advanced support for planning, implementing and maintenance of quality assurance/control programs for the Substation Division (SSD).

    This position is a hybrid position based in Warrendale, PA.

    What You ll Do:

    • Provide contractual terms and conditions review support for the division, for sales orders, sales and purchasing contracts.
    • Perform risk analysis and propose suggestions to keep contracts within the Company Limits of Authority policy.
    • Work with Corporate Contracts Manager and in-house legal counsel as required.
    • Participate in direct negotiations with customers and suppliers when requested.
    • Upon request, review Red Books, requisitions, and purchase orders on behalf of the General Manager.
    • When required, provide contractual terms and conditions training, for both sales and purchasing contracts.
    • Provide contractual terms and conditions review support for Sales Representative Agreements.
    • Support and make recommendations to improve company policies and procedures.
    • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the company through effective dealings with customers and other internal departments and divisions

    What You ll Bring:

    • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years experience working with commercial contracts for international equipment and services sales or equivalent education and experience.
    • Advanced knowledge of contract language and techniques for developing and interpreting contracts.
    • Advanced consulting and negotiating skills for negotiating commercial terms and conditions with customers and suppliers.
    • Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to communicate with customers, employees, and vendors.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and on several projects simultaneously.
    • Advanced computer skills, with emphasis on MS Office products and experience with ERP and/or CRM systems
