Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Generalist to join our client's team!

Description:

Negotiates with suppliers to draw up procurement contracts. Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates, and renegotiates contracts.
Formulates and coordinates procurement proposals.
Coordinates activities of workers engaged in formulating bid proposals.

Skill/Experience/Education:

Mandatory:

Applies to non-tech roles that do not require tenure differentiation (e.g. annual enrollment temp)

Desired Skills:

Minimum 5 years of contract management experience, 10+ years preferred, including direct responsibility for client-facing negotiations.
Strong knowledge of contract law principles and ability to interpret and simplify complex terms.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful contract renewal strategies.
Ability to manage a high-volume workload across multiple business lines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
Effective project management skills.
Ability to influence and communicate with professionalism, composure, and integrity.
Proficiency in contract database management.
A college degree is preferred but not required—skills and proven experience are most important.
