  • Proactively problem solve for emerging legal and operational risks, providing risk-based decisions on complex legal issues and proposing improvements and efficiencies to mitigate future exposure.
  • Advise on early-stage customer and vendor disputes, managing initial phases of legal conflicts and providing counsel on complex legal interpretations.
  • Drive legal automation efforts to help scale our team and bring greater efficiency to the contracting process, maintaining contract databases and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Work autonomously in a cross-functional manner, building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Participate in training commercial colleagues.

Skills & Experience for Success

  • Degree in law, paralegal studies or a related field.
  • Experience working with and reviewing commercial contracts in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong commercial contracting experience, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and legally robust agreements, correspondence, and other documentation.
  • Excellent negotiation and project management skills, with experience handling complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial arrangements.
  • Confident working with a large degree of autonomy, with the ability to structure and prioritize work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and to build and drive processes to completion.
  • Curious, ownership-oriented approach to learning and professional growth, with an appetite to ask questions and take initiative.
  • Experience in the RegTech space in a plus.
