Salary: $135,000/yr MUST:
Experienced Policy Analyst
5 plus years of professional experience supervising or overseeing large groups of personnel
5+ years experience with quality assurance and policy planning
5+ years experience with technical and legislative support
5+ years experience conducting policy analysis and regulatory research
Experience developing policy recommendations
Strong experience with databases, reports, spreadsheets, and records management
Experience with statistical analysis
Knowledge of DoD Disability Evaluation System activities and regulations preferred
Experience implementing DoD and VA policies and federal regulations preferred
Active PMP or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
Bachelor's degree required
DUTIES: Lead Disability Evaluation System (DES) policy analysis and regulatory research
Conduct quality assurance reviews related to DES policies and requirements
Develop, review, and recommend policies involving DoD, Military Department, and VA requirements
Analyze federal regulations and determine impacts on DES policies and operations
Provide policy planning, technical support, and legislative support
Develop reports, spreadsheets, statistical analyses, and policy recommendations
Maintain and analyze records and databases supporting policy initiatives
Ensure policies and recommendations align with applicable DoD, Military Department, VA, and federal requirements
