As a Permanent Contracts Specialist in the Healthcare industry, you will play a pivotal role in the development, negotiation, and management of service agreements and purchasing contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts align with the organization's financial and operational goals while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. This position requires a high level of expertise in contract writing and administration, financial analysis, and project management.
Responsibilities:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including service agreements, purchasing contracts, physician agreements, and medical office building leases.
2. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including pro formas and business analysis, to ensure contracts are financially viable and beneficial to the organization.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their contract needs and ensure these are adequately addressed in all agreements.
4. Manage multiple contract negotiations simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to ensure all deadlines are met.
5. Keep abreast of all relevant laws and regulations to ensure all contracts are compliant.
6. Use advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word, to manage contract data and create clear, comprehensive reports.
7. Utilize Meditech HIS and other relevant systems to manage contract information and streamline processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of contract writing and contract administration experience.
3. Proven experience negotiating and managing service agreements and purchasing contracts.
4. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
5. Financial analysis experience, including pro formas and business analysis.
6. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
Preferred:
1. Experience in the Healthcare industry.
2. Hospital or health system contracting experience.
3. Meditech HIS experience.
4. Experience with physician agreements and medical office building leases.
