Contractual Prekindergarten Teacher

Position: Prekindergarten Teacher (Contractual)

Effective: 9/1/2026

Location: Schools with Prekindergarten Classrooms

Salary

$38.40/hour contractual (no benefits) Position contingent on grant funding.

Hours: Hours determined by grant funding (Up to 25 hours per week)

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood developmentally appropriate practices.
• Experience working with special education and multilanguage students.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Exemplary organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Work with Prekindergarten special education and multilanguage student(s).
• Support the instructional needs of Prekindergarten student(s).
• Follow plans created by the classroom teacher.
• Work with staff and student(s) to develop effective intervention strategies.
• Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction and student learning.
