Control Engineer / PLC Technician Full Time (Immediate Hire)
We are seeking a hands-on Control Engineer / PLC Technician to support a high-speed manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems including Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, industrial electrical systems, and a wide range of automation equipment.
A strong background in electrical diagnostics, industrial networks, and high-speed production environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- PLC programming, modifications, and troubleshooting
- Installation, programming, and diagnostics of VFDs
- Perform electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance
- Read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings
- Troubleshoot sensors, HMIs, instrumentation, and automation components
- Support production teams to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety protocols, including LOTO and Arc Flash procedures
- Document all work performed in accordance with internal standards
Required Experience
- 3-5+ years as an industrial electrician
- 3-5+ years PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- 3-5+ years VFD installation and troubleshooting
- Strong background in industrial electrical systems
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments
- Industrial networking experience: Ethernet, DeviceNet, RS485
