Job Title: Control Panel Assembler
Location: York, Pennsylvania

Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm, OT as needed

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand electrical schematics and layout drawings.
  • Read Bill of Materials and identify all components.
  • Use measuring device to lay out cabinet holes and cutouts and back plate components per manufacturing layout drawings.
  • Use drills, taps, punches, and saws for mounting and access holes.
  • Label and assemble back plate components.
  • Wire back plate and cabinet per electrical schematic using strippers, crimpers, with high degree of neatness.
  • Contribute to making improvements in quality, reducing production times and cost reductions.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and follow all Company safety procedures and rules.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years working in control panel assembly or equivalent.
  • Must have a basic understanding of electrical components.
  • Must have basic to intermediate mechanical skills for measuring, cutting, and laying out of panels.
  • Must have experience using a variety of related hand tools such as drills, taps, punches, etc.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and provide own hand tools.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.
  • Physical and medical standards for this post must be met by the incumbent passing a physical examination by a company approved physician.
