Electrical Designer

Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire/Hybrid | $90k - $100k

Electrical Designer Responsibilities:

  • Produce electrical layouts in AutoCAD Electrical and design electrical circuits that are three-phase, single-phase, DC, and analog with the guidance of the hardware design engineer and CAD manager.
  • Create mechanical layout drawings for the assembly and construction of control panels.
  • Keep standards and design methods as consistent and with a high a level of detail as possible.
  • Utilize the Autodesk Vault document management solution to maintain the project files' revision control and continuity.
  • Helping to create new standards and procedures as needed through collaboration with the CAD design team.
  • Working together with hardware design engineers and panel shop technicians to finish projects in accordance with business and client standards.

Electrical Designer Qualifications:

  • 2 years of technical training in the electrical or design disciplines.
  • Understanding of simple electrical circuits.
  • Expertise with AutoCAD Electrical and Vault for electrical design.
  • Relevant work experience in panel design or controls.
  • Experience and knowledge of NFPA 70 and UL 508a (NEC).
