As a Control Panel Technician, you'll be an integral part of assembling and wiring control panels, contributing to the automation industry. Youll work closely with a skilled team to ensure each panel is built to high standards and meets project specifications.
What You'll DoAs a Control Panel Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assembling PLC control panels with precision, ensuring components are correctly placed and wired
- Installing jumper wires and positioning electrical components accurately within control panels
- Cutting, stripping, and coupling wires to create secure, safe, and compliant connections
- Drilling and tapping holes to accommodate components while maintaining strong workmanship standards
- Assisting with general electrical and mechanical assembly tasks as needed to meet project demands
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- 12 years of relevant experience in electrical assembly or control panel work
- Proficiency in soldering and building reliable electrical connections
- Familiarity with reading electrical schematics (preferred, not required)
- Comfort using power tools (drills, screwdrivers, grinders, sanders) and standing for extended periods
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Albany and runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
