Start your new career as a Control Room Operator with MAU at T2Earth in Appling, GA. As a Control Room Operator, you will monitor and control manufacturing processes, ensuring safe operations, product quality, and efficient production flow in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in lumber manufacturing or similar industry preferred
  • Prior experience in LTO roles or equivalent preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and quality standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with production teams

What You'll Do as a Control Room Operator:

  • Monitor and control manufacturing processes using HMI systems
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform minor repairs
  • Conduct preventive and autonomous maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with utility operators and production teams to optimize operations
  • Maintain accurate production, equipment, and process records
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, including TPI and AWPA requirements
  • Monitor product quality and identify non-conforming materials
  • Assist in scheduling production priorities and assigning tasks as needed
  • Support 5S practices to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Communicate performance issues, safety concerns, and process risks to management
  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
