Job Title: Control Room Operator
Location: San Jose, California
Type: 3 month Contract
Compensation: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Per Diem: $284/day

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor control systems within the power plant to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations.
• Utilize Siemens TXP DCS controls to manage and troubleshoot plant processes in real-time.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operations and system performance during each shift.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Control Room Operator or similar role in power generation facilities.
• Experience with Siemens TXP DCS controls and 2x1 combined cycle power plant operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in control systems.
• Effective communication and team coordination abilities.
