In the role of Control Systems Coordinator/EIT, we'll count on you to:

• Be a Control Systems Coordinator/EIT that can focus primarily on process controls.
• Participate in the design of complex industrial process control systems.
• Participate in process control design for water/wastewater, solid waste, power and process industries.
• Participate in process, controls, and instrumentation technology assessments and systems evaluations.
• Conduct analyses to develop chemical or process related design options or recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of project deliverables (examples include engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, and project specifications).
• Assist with selection and specification of process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipment.
• Assist with system testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist with design and construction project coordination tasks and activities.
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on small projects or assist more-senior engineers and project managers on larger projects.
• Give directions to clerical and technical personnel.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical, Nuclear, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Industry experience to include one or more of the following: Water/Wastewater, Solid Waste, Microgrid, Power, Process Industries, Nuclear/Advanced Nuclear, Manufacturing, Buildings.
• Understanding of PFDs, Heat and Materials Balance, P&IDs, and associated process industries standard design documentation.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• 6 years of experience.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task
• Knowledgeable of DCS or SCADA platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Wonderware, or Ignition
• Microsoft Office experience
• May need to travel

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
