Control Systems Operator
III
to
monitor
,
control
, troubleshoot, and repair building automation and control systems at Naval Base Kitsap,
Bangor
.This
role is critical to ensuring reliable facility operations, system efficiency, and compliance with safety and performance standards. The
Control
Sysyems
Operator III
will work closely with team members to implement system upgrades,
monitor
performance, and support energy-saving initiatives while
providing
technical guidance to staff.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitorsandoperatesindustrialcontrol systems and related equipment.
- Supports troubleshootingand resolvingissues related toDDCSystems, including sensors, actuators, and controllers.
- Assiststomanipulate, control, andmonitorsystem conditions, support maintenance, andperformingpoint checks.
- Reviews and analyzes control schematics,graphics,diagrams, and system documentation to aid in diagnostics and repairs.
- Educates and trains staffonthe operation of DDC systems.
- Maintainsaccuraterecords of service performed, system changes, and inventory of parts.
- Ensurecompliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all operational procedures.
- Monitors system performance and recommends energy-saving upgrades or modifications.
- Conducts routinemonitoringand inspections on DDC systems to ensureaccuratefunctionality and reliability.
- This position may be subject to call-back availability based on operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma/GED isrequired; Associate degreepreferred.
- 0-3years' experienceinElectronics, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of experience and education allowed
- Experience withbuilding automation systems, or related technology.
- Basicunderstanding of control theory, HVAC systems, and energy management practices.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
