This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can independently execute complex technical work while leading project tasks and supporting overall project delivery.You will work closely with internal teams and customers, taking ownership of assigned projects and ensuring successful execution aligned with schedule, budget, and quality expectations.What You'll DoDesign and develop complex control systems, including PLC and HMI applicationsInterpret and apply P&IDs, electrical drawings, and system specificationsDevelop instrumentation specifications and support value engineering effortsDesign and support network infrastructure and IT systems related to control system integrationEnsure adherence to company Quality Management System (QMS) standardsLead project-related tasks and small to mid-sized projects from start to finishManage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned workIdentify risks, scope changes, and project challenges and communicate proactivelyServe as a primary customer contact for assigned projectsSupport and contribute to larger projects led by othersCommissioning & Technical SupportLead and support system startup and commissioning activitiesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team membersTroubleshoot and resolve system issues in the fieldEnsure accurate documentation and reporting of system performanceCommunicate effectively with customers to support project successUnderstand customer needs and proactively deliver solutionsMaintain a professional, responsive, and service-oriented approachWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field7+ years of experience in control systems engineering or industrial automationProven experience leading project tasks and supporting project deliveryStrong expertise in PLC, HMI, and control system designAbility to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationExperience with networking and IT systems as they relate to control systemsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyWhat You'll GetCompetitive salary + annual bonus401(k) with company matchMultiple healthcare plan options, including low-cost plansPTO + company holidaysIn-house and factory technical trainingBusiness travel reimbursementCasual work environment, team events, and company perksWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThe physical and environmental demands described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this role.
