LINK Staffing is hiring a Controls Technician for an industrial manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This role is a strong fit for an experienced industrial electrician, electrical panel builder, or maintenance technician with hands-on controls experience.

The work includes reading schematics, wiring control panels, troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, and supporting equipment that uses PLCs, VFDs, and motor drives.

What You’ll Do

• Read electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Build and wire electrical control panels from schematics
• Install, connect, test, and troubleshoot electrical components
• Diagnose problems involving 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems
• Verify wiring, connections, components, and control-panel operation
• Support equipment installation, startup, repair, PLCs, VFDs, and motor drives
• Document wiring changes and completed repair work
• Follow electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on industrial electrical or controls experience
• Experience working with 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience building and wiring electrical control panels
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience
• PLC, VFD, or motor-drive experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures

Industrial electricians, electrical panel builders, and maintenance technicians with relevant controls experience are encouraged to apply.
