Job Description
Incumbent is responsible for the development, construction, upgrade, modification, maintenance, trouble-shooting, and repair of deep well pumping systems, wastewater sludge pumping systems, constant or variable frequency drives, electric services, traffic signal control systems, street lighting systems, and other motor-pump control systems for the city. May be involved in relay and control wiring for electrical substations.
Other job responsibilities include on-call rapid response to correct emergencies and abnormal or unusual operating conditions during working hours and non-working hours.

Minimum Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent GED Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License CDL issued by State of residence with current medical certificate Must meet Citys insurability requirements
Certified Journeyman Electrician EE-98J

Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience with electrical trouble-shooting and maintaining motors and motors control systems
