Job Description

QB Johnson, Mfg. Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller/Accounting Manager to join our team. Reporting to the CEO, this person will manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial integrity, internal control, and timely reporting across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee AR, AP, Payroll and Cash Management
Maintain and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal control to support operational efficiency and compliance
Prepare timely, accurate financial statements, reports and presentations.
Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with the CEO to align on financial goals
401k Administrator
Review customer contracts
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance department’s overall success

Qualifications & Skills required:

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Effective communicator across departments and with clients
Skilled in problem-solving and analytical thinking
Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
Knowledge of internal controls and audit process
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required: Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of relevant account experience; experience in manufacturing, CPA designation is a plus.
