Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Controller, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

2. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

3. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

4. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

5. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

6. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

7. Support month-end and year-end close process.

8. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

10. Work closely with project managers and senior leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role in the construction industry.

3. Proven experience supervising accounting staff and managing diverse teams.

4. Strong knowledge of construction accounting software and advanced proficiency in general office software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.

5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

7. Strong leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset.

8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

10. High attention to detail and accuracy.
