Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Controller that will report directly to the CFO and will be a key player in leadership. This role requires a "roll up your sleeves" attitude and significant experience working with private equity-backed companies. The successful candidate will supervise a small team and be responsible for month-end close, consolidations, intercompany transactions, technical accounting, cash flow analysis, and occasional travel. Located in Lehigh County, PA, on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a small team of accounting professionals.
- Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee all consolidations and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards.
- Conduct cash flow analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the CFO on financial planning and analysis.
- Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and advisors.
- Travel as required for business needs.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification is preferred
- Proven experience working with private equity-backed companies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Background in Big 4 public accounting is required.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
