Job Description
CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking a Controller to lead and oversee the accounting and financial operations of a well-established manufacturing/CG organization with more than $500M in annual revenue. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic business decisions. The Controller will play a key role in modernizing finance functions through automation, advanced analytics, and technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Month end close; oversee accurate GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial performance reporting.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, including automation, process improvements, and data analytics.
- Oversee internal controls, risk management, compliance, audits, and tax coordination.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; advanced degree preferred.
- CPA designation strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of large ERP
- Large company Manufacturing and/or Consumer Goods experience required.
- Success leading technology, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

- Hybrid work environment
Salary range: $180,000 - $200,000 plus 20% bonus opportunity
