Controller - Arkansas

A full-time Controller is needed to lead all accounting, compliance, and HR functions at a manufacturing facility located in Pocahontas, AR. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role oversees financial operations and human resources, playing a key role in both strategic planning and day-to-day management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations: accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, manage tax matters, and maintain internal controls.
• Lead monthly closes, audits, forecasts, job costing, and margin analysis.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration, and employee relations.
• Enforce policies, ensure OSHA compliance, and support safety and workers' compensation programs.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting role.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, budgeting, and financial systems.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Striven).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Experience managing HR functions, including recruiting and compliance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening.
