Growing global manufacturer serving research, diagnostics, and biotechnology markets with operations across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Position Overview

Seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and oversee business systems/IT. This role will own financial reporting, close processes, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, inventory accounting, and ERP-driven process improvements while serving as a key business partner to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Manage inventory accounting, standard costing, AP/AR, fixed assets, and general ledger
• Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and audit processes
• Provide oversight of ERP systems, reporting tools, and business technology initiatives
• Partner with Operations, Sales, R&D, and executive leadership on financial and operational decisions
• Develop and lead a small Accounting and IT team

Required Background

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
• Strong manufacturing accounting, inventory, and standard costing expertise
• ERP systems and process improvement experience
• Proven leadership and cross-functional business partnership skills

Preferred Experience

• International or multi-entity operations
• Life sciences, medical device, diagnostics, or other regulated manufacturing environments
• Business systems, automation, reporting, or technology leadership experience
