Position Summary
The Controller leads the accounting function and is responsible for the financial integrity of the organization. This role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, audits, payroll oversight, and internal controls while providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and monitor organizational budgets and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and healthcare industry requirements.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Support executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
- Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- Progressive accounting and financial management experience.
- Experience with healthcare preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
