Job Details

The Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls while supporting operational leadership in a manufacturing setting. This individual will play a key role in optimizing processes, ensuring compliance, and scaling the finance function alongside company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all accounting operations including GL, month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, and payroll
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and policies
Partner with operations and executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Oversee cost accounting and inventory management within a manufacturing environment
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audits
Manage and mentor accounting staff, building a high-performing team
Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
Support ERP optimization and reporting capabilities


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA strongly preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
Prior experience in manufacturing required; medical, life sciences, or regulated environment highly preferred
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and financial operations
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
Proven ability to lead teams and partner cross-functionally
