Controller
Location: Brentwood, Tennessee
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000
A growing organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting and financial operations. Responsibilities of the Controller
- Lead monthly financial reporting and month-end close
- Prepare and review GAAP financial statements
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll operations
- Manage external audit processes and auditor relationships
- Develop budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting procedures
- Manage banking relationships, treasury activities, and loan covenant reporting
Qualifications for the Controller
- Experience leading accounting teams
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP system experience
- Proven ability to improve processes and strengthen controls
