Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Accounting Management
- Oversee accounting operations such as accounts payable, receivable, cash management, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
- Guarantee the precision and punctuality of financial records and reports.
- Steer end-of-month, quarterly, and annual financial closures, including journal entry evaluations and reconciliations.
- Retain stringent internal controls and practices that comply with GAAP.
Financial Analysis & Strategic Reporting
- Craft and review financial statements and management reports on a monthly and annual basis.
- Provide high-level financial analysis and reporting to aid key strategic choices.
- Share insights on financial performance and projections to senior management.
- Track essential financial indicators and propose strategies to enhance performance.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Management
- Collaborate with higher management to devise budgets and continuous forecasts.
- Examine variances and suggest improvements for financial outcomes.
- Oversee cash flow projections and planning to meet operational requirements.
Compliance, Auditing & Process Optimization
- Lead yearly financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Adhere to tax, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Assess and refine accounting systems and financial processing.
- Spearhead technology initiatives for process improvement and efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development
- Guide, mentor, and advance accounting staff.
- Set clear performance objectives, fortify coaching, and advance professional development.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years in accounting leadership, particularly in roles akin to Finance Operations Director.
- Valued public accounting experience.
- Expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and control systems.
- Comprehensive grasp of accounting standards, regulations, and compliance.
- Advanced skills in accounting technologies and Excel; ERP systems familiarity preferred.
- Familiarity with Sage/Peachtree is advantageous.
- Competence in multitasking and timely task completion in dynamic settings.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving acumen.
