Growing multifamily real estate investment and operating company seeking a Controller / VP of Finance to lead accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and finance operations across a growing portfolio of assets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee corporate and property-level accounting operations.
- Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and consolidations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and treasury functions.
- Support acquisitions, refinancings, and lender reporting requirements.
- Manage audit, tax, and external accounting relationships.
- Improve processes, internal controls, and financial systems.
- Lead and develop the accounting and finance team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Real estate, multifamily, or real estate investment experience preferred.
- Strong background in financial reporting, cash management, and debt financing.
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar accounting systems is a plus.
