  • Lead two direct reports, including a tenured Accounting Manager with extensive institutional knowledge

  • High level of visibility and interaction with executive leadership

  • Opportunity to drive operational improvements, profitability initiatives, and financial performance

  • Collaborative environment where finance is viewed as a strategic business partner

  • Position offers a unique blend of accounting leadership, operational finance, and business strategy

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all site accounting and finance activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to operations and executive management

  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business objectives

  • Deliver meaningful financial analysis and recommendations that drive decision-making

  • Partner with operations leaders to improve profitability, productivity, and cost efficiency

  • Oversee month-end close, account reconciliations, financial statements, and internal controls

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a high-performance culture

  • Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic initiatives

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and overall business performance

  • Serve as the primary liaison between site leadership and the corporate finance organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred

  • Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments

  • Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and internal controls

  • Demonstrated success partnering with operations to improve business performance

  • Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing teams

  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
