Job Title: Accounting Specialist
Job Type: Direct hire
Location: Waukesha, WI (Fully Onsite)
Shift: M-F, 8:00am-4;30pm
Pay: $60,000k+ (Dependent on experience)
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations using QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal financial and reporting standards
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for customer service inquiries and support
  • Process customer orders from entry through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM/ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Assist with inventory tracking and coordination with supply chain partners
  • Support pricing accuracy and adherence to company policies
  • Help enforce internal processes related to order approvals, payment terms, and documentation
  • Provide backup support for customer service functions as needed in a small team environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controller-level responsibilities
  • Experience with customer service, order management, or inside sales support
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
